i use fl studio for all of my music. my old stuff was in garageband, though. i use a lot of soundfonts. i use the stock fl studio soundfont player but sforzando is good too. i mostly use the sgm soundfont, but i use some other stuff too. as a starter, i reccomend just going to the toby fox sample sheet and going to "composer equipment." it's a good start for a lot of free stuff. i also reccomend getting random sample packs from reddit. they're a good way to get nice sounding drums. i don't like using premade loops, but it's up to you. one other thing i like to do is using sample cds from the 90s. this is a huge library of them. i reccomend the best service gigapacks, best service voice spectral, and the zero-g datafiles especially. for more sample cds, check out the composer equipment on the pizza tower sample sheet. as for vsts, i use a lot of ample bass p lite, spitfire labs, keyzone classic, matt montag's nes vst 1.2, ravegenerator2, surge xt, synth1, the old illformed effect plugins, the free melda effect plugins, the xfer records freeware, lephonk (stupid name, i know,) and valhalla supermassive. i use almost entirely presets, so feel no shame for doing the same, if you want to. for digital art, i use paint.net and krita. on paint.net you can download lots of cool effects. i use the stock fractal and gradient plugins and xhin's advanced kaleidoscope plugin a lot, as well as polyglitch.
